A microbiologist by training, from a family of entrepreneurs in the industrial sector, Sâadia Lakehal is moving naturally towards this industry that has always fascinated her. Recognized for her leadership in the manufacturing sector in Montreal and Quebec, she is a 2017 finalist at the Quebec Maghreb Congress Gala, in the Women’s Leader category.

After spending ten years at the head of several different industry associations and chaired the industrial policy committee of the, “l’Association Interindustrielle de Montréal (AIIM),” Sâadia Lakehal is forging a solid reputation in her field. Today, she wants to build on her 25 years of experience and expertise by helping to create a more ethical future.

In 2016, she founded Emperia Industries Connect Inc. Her role: to stimulate innovation by simplifying the dialogue between actors from here and elsewhere. Emperia promotes the various manufacturing companies that mandate it, domestically and internationally, as well as designs and organizes exclusive events created to shape the industry of tomorrow.

Bringing together community stakeholders, these events are designed to encourage cross-industry and intercultural relations to meet current and future economic, technological, organizational, environmental and societal imperatives.
